On the Corner: Metropolitan Avenue

April 11, 2014

Williamsburg's busy Metropolitan Avenue is a sartorial connoisseur's dream. An endless array of stylish people populate the sidewalks, while the Lorimer Street/Metropolitan Avenue subway station merges two of the city's more fashion-conscious lines: the hipster-chic L train and the vastly underrated G train. Friday's street style featured an array of bike riders, tattooed fashionistas, and stylish gents wearing the requisite Chuck Taylor's, skinny-fit jeans, and Doc Martens, as well as military-style hats, bold prints, oversized sunglasses, and Italian loafers.
