Colorful Characters: NYFW Street Style Day 5

Day five of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 street style featured colorful characters and A-list celebs. The sun made a rare appearance, but it was no match for the rainbow of outfits that graced Lincoln Center's Josie Robertson Plaza. An impeccably dressed Solange impressed with vivid color blocking and impeccably coiffed hair, while mere mortals rocked colored patterns and exquisite accessories. The standouts of the day were a fabulously industrious alien whose creative costume stopped jaded New Yorkers in their tracks and a fashionable gentleman who threw shade by putting an androgynous twist on a nun's habit.

The bar has been raised. Hopefully day six will continue the upward trend.
